Idaho has three cities noted in the top 25 appreciating markets in the nation
Main / Meridian Homes for Sale

I just read an article of the top 25 appreciating markets in the United States and Boise, Idaho Falls and Kellogg all made the list in the top 20.

It is amazing how some of these lists change from year to year since for years we have seen these lists forcast 10-20 % appreciation and this year, this list maxed at 4.9% for Biloxi, MS.  They had Idaho Falls forcast for 3.8%; Kellog and Boise for 3.5%.

For the full article, go to http://www.housingpredictor.com/top2008.html

It didn't list Meridian homes for sale or projections, but I would anticipate it to be similar for Boise.

Yes their 2007 survey which you will never find on their website put Boise at 6.1% for 2008. Don't think that or the other huge gains worked out too well. (- edit, worked great, they are an ad based site, and 100's of RE sites link to the site as long as the forecasts are really positive)
