The Annual Idaho Energy and Green Building Conference is scheduled for October 22-24, 2008, at the Double Tree Riverside Hotel in Garden City. Themed “Planning Ahead for a Greener Future: Turning Policies and Practices into Profits,” this conference provides quality education and training on building codes, policy, energy efficiency and green buildings, and will also feature exhibitors and products available in Idaho to help you go “green.” Workshops and general sessions will cover current energy saving concepts, “green” homes and buildings, what Idaho should know about cap and trade, update from the Idaho Strategic Energy Alliance, and changes in the International Energy Code.
