Not every builder in town is the same. Some truly are out to create their own legacy and create a company that does not rest on its lorals. Kastera is now walking the walk and talking the talk. The customer experience is their #1 priority and they are proving it. Here is a recent review from one of their clients-
I purchased a Kastera home that was already completed (just moved to Boise from New Zealand). Had no experience with this builder, but my realtor said they had a good reputation. The design and finish of the home, together with the subdivision (Burney Glen) were the deciding factors in my purchase decision. This is the 9th new home I have purchased in my life, and this experience has been the best of the bunch. Right from the first meeting with the builder, to review some of the conditions of the offer, they were professional, helpful, caring, and dedicated to meeting my expectations. Well, they more than met my expectations, they exceeded them. The followup on the very few items has been outstanding and persistent - and the sub-contractors have all been exceptional - the wiring people, the fence people, the concrete people, and the landscapers have all gone the extra distance to provide quality service and satisfaction. And when I asked them about working with Kastera, they all said this builder was the best to work for - they paid their bills promptly, they were fair and reasonable when changes had to be made, and they loved working for them. I elected to have a home inspector check the house over, even though it was brand-new. In my experience, even new homes need an inspection, and my realtor recommended the company I used. He warned me that this guy was the pickiest inspector, and could make even a new home "look like a mess". And he was every bit of that. He was here for nearly two hours, and checked every electrical outlet, turned on every faucet, ran all the appliances (checked every burner and the range), walked the roof, climbed down in the crawlspace and inspected the footings, the moisture barrier, the plumbing, the heating vents, climbed into the attic and inspected the trusses, the insulation, the heating ducts, and the electrical wiring... and found 3 or 4 very minor items to squawk. He told me that this house, in his exact words, was "the cleanest and best built new home he had ever inspected". So, what would I tell others about Kastera? Exactly what I already have, and which I've just described above. Truly a wonderful builder, and a remarkable pleasant experience...
