Gem State Ingenuity Can Set the Trend

Trend setting the Gem State has but to look at the great Cities of the World. There's still time: we are at the cusp of the industrial revolution and a world wide effort for environmental consciousness.

Boise and the Treasure Valley but have to look at other major metropolitan areas to see our future and set a new trend. Our Capital City is the only populous Capital in the nation that is not built out around it for a 50 mile radius. Try and find one, let me know if I'm wrong. BUT THERE IS ONE DIFFERENCE WE CAN MAKE. We still have time to attract more major employers, plan for mass transit and set the boundaries for Urban Sprawl. Our growth here comes at the cusp of the industrial revolution and a world wide effort of environmental consciousness. Our Gem State has the opportunity to join the other great Cities of the world for all we have and for what we can become. Very compkicated issues from design to how to pay for it. One problem is that no one wants to pay for the next generation now. I think everyone knows it is in our best interest and I hope we can all think ahead and commit.
On an enviromental note, what's up with so many badgers on the side of the road lately. Both my wife and I have noticed lots of badgers on the side of the road. I can't believe there are any left.

Agreed, starts with the dream, the master plan, the buy in, the design the funding. Leadership, and support. If they meets in the middle, it can happen. But then again we barely got a junior college funded.

The badgers are being displaced by grading operations. Probably a timely death. Kt
