How tight competition is creating better communities.

As I have written before, one of the main reasons I became a builder was because I did not agree with the way the homes were being constructed across The Boise Valley. It did not seem to matter what the price points were the only differences between the homes were their roof lines and colors. This lack of design and material creativity has lead to non-sustainable, and not to forget boring, communities.  But times are changing! 

Because of tight competition in the current market builders and developers are constructing their best products ever! What I mean by best is design creativity, energy conservation and green innovation are being incorporated into most homes and communities today, at least the ones that have a chance of selling. These changes are adding tremendous value to communities around the valley, which leads to sustainable, more affordable communities that homeowners want to be a part of.
 
Keep in mind, not all builders and developers are building to these higher standards. So before purchasing please do your homework to find which communities are being constructed using sustainable practices.
