"Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand should be required reading for every voter prior to the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. It was almost prophetic in its portrayal of politicians extolling the moral and patriotic duty of paying more taxes, while destroying the lives of those that had the ideas and ingenuity to really make America great.
If you can get past the obvious atheistic undertones and focus just on the principles of capitalism, it is a fantastic book.
