I Must Give Credit Where Credit is Due.
Main / Building Value into Boise Real Estate

How does your community team rate?

When times where easy it did not seam to matter what you built, where you built it, what the amenities where, who the other builders where, who was listing it, who the developer was or what the price point was – everything just sold.

We now live in a market that is about 180 degrees of the one I explained above. Now everything on the above list is critical/crucial/mandatory for success. Trust me, I had a list a mile long of specific criteria that needed to be satisfied before I was going to speculate any more.

My number one criteria though was a developer with integrity! Not one that says they are going to put in a pool and clubhouse and then they don’t, not one that charges some builders in the team more that others for similar lots, but one that does what they say they are going to do plus more, one that protects their team as much as possible by adding value to their communities. I am describing Tucker and Sam Johnson of Skyline Development. In times when most developers are puckering-up and not spending to create the necessary value needed today in communities to sell homes, Skyline is doing just the opposite. In Hazelwood Village the first structure in the ground was a stunning “Sun Valley” clubhouse and pool. They decked the community out with mature landscaping, which entailed 30 foot tall whispering pine trees and hanging flower baskets. They also installed cedar fencing and a playground/Jungle Jim set. Another huge gesture was filling the irrigation system with City water, which they are paying for, until irrigation water is available in about a month.   The big thing is that Skyline is doing what they said they were going to do plus more – is your developer going to these lengths to create value in your community?

I also want to mention the marketing team, NewHomeMarketPlace, and the builder team (Syringa, Zack Evans, Skinner, Mountain West, Upland and Flynner) for having great integrity and doing what they say they are going to do.

Wait, Emdeplam is handing out compliments. Mark this as a first. Congratualtions Scott.
Also, Tucker Johnson is very well respected in the industry and very professional. What is the status of The Cliffs Subdivision in North Boise?
