BuildingCredibility.com loses its first member because their clients did not give them good ratings and feedback.

So I have this client who understands the value of BuildingCredibility.com but has had the rude awakening that they are not as good as they think they are. The good news is that their product is good, they just consistently did not do what they said they were going to. I called several clients who did not want to leave feedback until the company came back and completed warranty work that was promised 6 months earlier!

Here is the thing, all they had to do was follow through. The other problem was that it was always the customer's fault. I understand that not every customer can be completely satisfied and some jobs just don't go smoothly, but if you consistently have dissatisfied clients you have a business problem. This is a huge sign that your company needs to instill quality control programs or start setting realistic expectations for your clients.

I have to say I saw this coming. Why would someone pay me to tell the world that if you hire this company, prepare to be disappointed?

I get lots of arguments about businesses getting feedback from clients and I can only tell you from my experience that clients are reasonable and intend to be fair. If you suck they'll let you know. If you did a good job they may still have critical thoughts but all in all if you meet their expectations clients are more than happy give good ratings and feedback. Again, just do what you say you are going to and you are 99% there.
