Construction Management Certificate

BOISE STATE UNIVERSITY'S DEPARTMENT OF CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT IS LAUNCHING A NEW, INTENSIVE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATE COURSE STARTING THIS OCTOBER.

  • Dates:  Classes will be held two full days per month (Friday/Saturday) for six months (96 hours total).  The schedule is from 8:00 am to 5 pm located in the Engineering & Technology building room 108.  Class dates are:
  • October 13 & 14, 2006
  • November 10 & 11, 2006
  • December 8 & 9, 2006
  • January 12 & 13, 2007
  • February 16 & 17, 2007
  • March 9 & 10, 2007
  • Pricing:  $4,495.  Includes 96 hours of classroom instruction, textbook and printed materials, and CEUs (continuing education units).
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Must know basic math:  algebra, geometry, conversion between decimals and fractions
  • Must be able to read blueprints
  • Instructors:  Classes will be taught by qualified construction management faculty with real-world experience:  Rebecca Mirsky (PE, PhD Environmental Engineering, BS Engineering Science & Mechanics); Charles Gains (MBA, CPC, Associate Professor); Casey Cline (MS Construction Science).

Conditional Lifetime Guarantee:

Completion of the Construction Management Certificate course entitles the student to refresh his or her knowledge at any time by attending future Construction Management Certificate classes at no charge, exclusive of materials and on a space-available basis.

Registration Information

Fee and Cancellation Policy: Fee arrangements for workshops are due on or before the first day of class.  Refunds will be processed for cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the class.  After that the participant or organization will be held responsible for the fee.  Anyone who is registered but cannot attend may send a substitute.  Please call 426-3485 with the name of your substitute attendee.
