I spent the most interesting day with OldenKamp Construction, Geoff and Josh! (Really nice guys!) We looked at four of their homes in different stages of construction. These fellows are forging the way with energy efficiency, making improvements with every home, defining basis of Green Building, and energy efficient construction techniques.

A few weeks ago, one of Idaho's House Representatives formed an informal group from "LEEDers" , a sub-association of the USGBC - Idaho Chapter, to look at Sustainability and proposed legislation. In taking roles to research best practices for living sustainably, THIS is an attempt put some structure to a proposed model for change. (Credit to Green Foundation's library & book by Linda Hubbard: Conscious Evolution) By no means is it perfect. The government can not be expected to do everything for a Sustainable Future. But the government has the data we need, and private industry has the ability. Hold on....(Idaho)...
