Jim Paulson is sworn in as the Vice President of the Ada County Association of Realtors for 2008
Main / Meridian Homes for Sale

The Ada County Association of Realtors has over 4,000 members. Jim Paulson was elected to serve as 2008 Vice President.

I am honored to once again be elected by my fellow Realtors to serve the Ada County Association of Realtors (ACAR) in an even greater capacity.

I have served extensively in my 15 years as a member of ACAR.  I have been on lots of committees, I Chaired the Give Back Golf Tournament one year; I am serving on the ACAR Board of Directors for my second three year term, will be serving my third year as an Idaho Association of Realtors Board of Director, and also Chair the Intermountain MLS (Multiple Listing Service) New Technology Committee.  However, being elected as Vice President brings lots of new opportunities and challenges.

I will be doing more traveling on behalf of our organization.  I will be serving on the Executive Committee for the association.  I will be learning things that will help me transition to the position of President Elect in 2009 followed by President of the Ada County Association of Realtors in 2010.

I sincerely would like feedback from the industry leaders (builders, subcontractors, lenders, title companies, corporations impacted by relocation, etc.) that feel they need a voice in our association.  I am honored to serve such a great group of people in these exciting times!

I believe in offering people the opportunity to say what they feel like, but the above comment really had no place on this site. I almost deleted it for that reason, but then I feel that I might loose "credibility" instead of "building" it if I started deleting posts, even if they don't belong. Jim P.
